Slab paving is when large sizes or slabs of stone are used in making a driveway. There are many types of stones that can be utilized and this process provides a solid look and feel for a driveway. Large slabs of stone cannot properly support the weight of a vehicle since all the force is concentrated on the tire and correspondingly, on just one point of contact with the slab. A pattern imprinted concrete paving on the other hand is more durable. It is created by stamping molds and the colors are later added in the concrete. Since these are smaller in sizes, there more patterns available using this process. The imagination is the limit when it comes to the designs possible with a pattern imprinted concrete paving.
